Lenovo K6 Family Announced

Just when Lenovo Philippines announced the availability of Lenovo Vibe K5 in the country, Lenovo just announced the new K6 family in IFA in Berlin (note the loss of the Vibe branding). These metal-clad smartphones are launched as Lenovo K6, Lenovo K6 Power and Lenovo K6 Note.

The similarities of the K6 family starts by having a Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor (octacore), microSD card expansion capabilities, dual-sim support, LTE capabilities, Dolby Atmos certification, fingerprint scanners (located at the back of the device), and runs on Android Marshmallow 6.0 (skinned by Lenovo).

Lenovo K6 has a 2GB of RAM combined with either 16GB or 32GB internal storage. The K6 Power comes in 2GB/16GB and 3GB/32GB combo, and the K6 Note is set to get a fixed 32 GB storage but with either 3GB or 4GB of RAM.

Both K6 and K6 Power have 5 inch displays, while K6 Note has a 5.5 inch display. All models rock a 1080p FullHD resolution. K6's battery capacity is at 3,000 mAh, while both K6 Power and K6 Note comes at 4,000 mAh.

K6 and K6 Power both get a primary 13 MP camera setup with contrast detection while the K6 Note gets a 16 MP primary camera with phase-detection autofocus. All models comes with an 8 MP front-facing camera.

The entire K6 line will be priced between €150-€230 (Php 7.7k-11.9k) depending on the configuration.
