HTC One A9s Official, a Slight Dowgrade

HTC launched the HTC One A9 late last year, with an asking price that was considered too high for the specs. Seeing this, HTC just launched the HTC One A9s, which is aimed to be a slight downgrade over its predescessor to allow a lowee pricing while keeping the premium formula A9 was well known of.

The new HTC One A9s has the same metal bpdy, diamond-cut buttons and a curved Gorilla Glass screen. The screen size is still at 5 inches but has a downgraded resolution of 720p (from 1080p). The rear camera is at 13 MP with an f/2.2 lens, LED flash. The front camera was changed as well to a regular 5 MP sensor with f/2.8 aperture.

The A9s still has the fingerprint scanner at the front of the device, and now has a larger 2,300 mAh battery to boot. It is run by Mediatek's Helio P10 processor, with either 2 GB or 3 GB RAM configuration and 16 GB or 32 GB internal storage variants which is still expandable via microSD card.

The pricing is yet to be revealed, but HTC promised a global availability of the One A9s.
