Xiaomi Redmi Note 4: Affordable Helio X20 Smartphone Announced



     Xiaomi has released the new budget device on the Redmi line, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4. This is designed as a budget but premium device, and the first to run MIUI 8 (Android 6.0 Mashmallow based) from out of the box.



     The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 has a 5.5 inch Full HD IPS LCD display with 2.5D curved glass panel. It has a full metal unibody construction, that features a 13 MP and 5 MP camera combination, a fingerprint scanner at the back. It is powered by MediaTek Helio X20 2.1 GHz deca-core processor, with 16 GB internal/2 GB RAM and 64 GB internal/3 GB RAM variants. It is also still expandable via miscroSD card, and is powered by a 4100mAh battery.



     The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 will retail at $135 (around Php 6.2k) for the 16 GB variant, and $180 (around Php 8.3k) for the 64 GB variant. No word yet of availability outside China.
