Facebook Messenger Instant Video Feature Announced

Facebook Messenger, the mandatory messaging app Facebook has been pushing eversince, announced the new Instant Video feature, a video calling feature that allow users to share a live stream inside a traditional text chat.

Instant Video feature enable users to start sharing videos real-time, while still inside the traditional chat window. The audio is diabled by default as the feature aims for users to see what the other user has to show without the need to hear what the other user has to say since it is already supplemented by the chat conversation, but audio can be easily enabled as well. The video will float over the active chat window to continue the chat conversation whilst in the video call.

The new feature is available on the new messenger versions for both iOS and Android.
